This one-day program will include an update on China investment; a session with regard to China as a World Player; an update on legal issues in China from FCPA to antimonopoly laws; an economic and financial update on the Chinese business environment and the Chinese stimulus package; and more. The day will wrap-up with a cocktail reception and dinner.
The agenda will feature outstanding speakers like Charlene Barshefsky (the architect and negotiator of China's WTO agreement), Daniel Rosen (an economic advisor specializing in China's commercial development), Stephen Chipman (CEO-Elect of Grant Thornton LLP and presently CEO of Grant Thornton China Management Corporation), Matthew Adler (founding partner of DLA Piper's Beijing office), Sarah Kemp from the U.S. Embassy in Beijing and one of the most dynamic speakers at both of our 2008 and 2009 Doing Business in China conferences, and Jim McGregor (everyone's go-to guy on China).
The program is open to top officers and directors of companies that have sent a delegate to a past Doing Business in China Conference as well as those who have an interest in China. The fee is $795 per delegate. If you wish to bring a colleague with you, the price is $595 per person.
